Riverside walk

Riverview House is adjacent the famous Riverside Walk.

Your visit to Warburton would not be complete without exploring some or all of the beautiful Riverside Walk. A map from the Warburton Advancement League is sent to all our visitors.

The 6km long walking track is a glorious stroll. Meander through open parklands, then along fern lined paths with majestic mountain ash. Discover a nature trail with a very special lookout. Hear the Yarra rushing over the rocks. Enjoy the swimming spots. There are BBQ and picnic facilities at various points plus a number of attractive rest stops along the way. View the playful platypus at dusk. The track even passes the rear of the main street restaurants and cafes – so a coffee break is popular, before resuming your walk.

Your walk can be as long or as short as you want.

Traverse the river on the six unique bridges- three specifically for pedestrians.

The Riverside Walk connects all the parklands which line the Yarra River through the town.

Extend your walk by connecting to the River Walk which goes towards East Warburton and Big Pats creek.
